Why Adige Park?
Because this tiny Bed and Breakfast is only 100 meters away from a vast and open park that delimits the South and South Eastern areas of Verona on the banks of the Adige river, offering serene walks and gorgeous jogging routes. There are also bicycle lanes that reach the nearby Villa Buri and the Verona Horse Riding Stables.
The Adige Park Bed and Breakfast, located in Verona’s Porto San Pancrazio neighborhood, is only 2,5 km away from Juliet’s Balcony, in the heart of downtown Verona, and is 800 meters away from the city’s Porta Vescovo station, served by budget-friendly Regionale trains that reach the Venice Santa Lucia station in 1 hour and 20 minutes.
Porto San Pancrazio owes its name to the port previously existing in this city area, when the Adige river was used as a transportation mean and was fully navigable. The neighborhood is generously served by public transportation and, just 200 meters away from the Bed and Breakfast, you’ll be able to find the stop for buses 70, 71 and 93, that in few minutes, with an expense of 1,30 Euro, reach the heart of Verona’s historical Roman city center: Piazza delle Erbe.
The Porto San Pancrazio neighborhood is fully autonomous, and, with a 5 minute walk from Adige Park, you’ll find its church, postal office, pharmacy, supermarkets, cafès, bread shops, tobacco stores, and much more; if driving, you’ll be able to reach the A4 motorway, through the Verona East or Verona South exit, in just 10 minutes.
